If you’re new here and want to stay up to date with the latest tech please hit subscribe follow by the bell, you can also keep up on facebook, instagram and twitter by clicking the links in the description.

So as usual i’ve got plenty to share with you about the samsung galaxy note 20 and we’ve got a new camera sample an incredible new feature revealed new renders from evan blass and ice universe we’ve got confirmation of key specs including the battery capacity and the display before we get started though please like the video if you’re looking forward to the samsung.

unpacked event let me know in the comments what phone you’re watching this video on so many of you probably saw the samsung galaxy note 20 leak from evan blast last week and he gave us a 360 view of what he says the note 20 is gonna look like it was originally on his patreon only but he’s now tweeted it to the whole of his twitter since then he’s also provided another 360 degree render but this time of the note 20 ultra which is currently only available on his patreon but it does show the same device we’ve been seeing in so many of the renders with so many sources citing the same design of the galaxy note 20 ultra.

we can be pretty certain that the design is correct on that note we also had a tweet from ice universe earlier today and he was saying using ev leaks renders he’s perfected his design of the galaxy note 20 ultra he posted three separate images of the note 20 ultra along with an image showcasing all three of his designs again it shows what we already knew for the galaxy note 20 ultra a full screen design a smaller punch hole selfie camera trim bezels all round and curves at both edges it does seem as though focus is also being put on the galaxy note 20 ultra when it comes to the production as ross young has tweeted to say that the note 20 ultra looks to have taken a healthy early lead in volume over the standard note 20.

given that the note 20 ultra is the most premium this isn’t really a surprise for those who prefer the standard note 20 however the device has passed through the fcc certification revealing a larger battery capacity over its predecessor is it’s now going to be between 4170 and 4300 milliamp hours the certification also confirms that 5g connectivity and a 6.53 inch flat display which is a bump up from its predecessors 6.3 now the most exciting news we’ve had for a while and that’s the camera sample of the galaxy note 20 ultra along with the reveal of a much wanted new feature now the new video comes courtesy of jimmy as promo.

who’s shared with us plenty of leaks for the note 20 ultra he starts off by giving us a comparison between the note 20 ultra and the s20 ultra while they are similar the note 20 ultra has replaced the timer flight sensor for a laser sensor we no longer have the 100 time space zoom branding and this is of course because samsung removed it and the note 20 ultra also does look to have a slimmer module he then shows us plenty of screen recording where he’s taken a photo on the note 20 and we can see that the max zoom is now 50 times and while we already knew this it is nice to have the confirmation.

we then get a look in the video settings where he confirms 4k video it’s 60 frames a second and we can also see just above this that there’s an option for 8k video at 24 frames per second we get a glimpse at the pro video settings of the note 20 and you can see it allows you to adjust the audio capture between the microphones as well as some accessibility options from bixby that allow it to describe the scene or read text from the camera now finally he highlights the nearby share function on the galaxy note 20. some of you may have heard of this feature as it’s present in the play services beta and it’s pretty much android’s answer to airdrop.

while many complain about apple taking features from android airdrop is a much loved feature and i’m glad google have finally decided to implement the feature allows you to share documents or media with any other android device that’s near you this doesn’t mean that you can spam every android device near you but it’s useful for sending files between your own devices with the launch event already confirmed by samsung as being the 5th of august it’s not long until samsung unveiled this to the world for those interested in the galaxy note 20.

or the note 20 ultra we’re gonna run through the full specs of both of the phones to help you guys decide which one is right for you for my regular subscribers you guys have already seen this so go ahead and jump to the next video but if you are new here then hit subscribe now and we’ll get right into it the samsung galaxy note 20 is gonna be the smaller device coming in with a 6.42 inch oled display at a resolution of 2345 by 1080 which gives us 404 pixels per inch there’s a lot of conflicting leaks.

when it comes to refresh rates with many claiming the smaller note 20 is going to come with the 60 hertz screen and many others claiming it will be a 120 hertz display it’s going to have an aspect ratio of 19 and a half by 9 be protected by gorilla glass 6 and it is of course a full screen display with an in-display fingerprint scanner and punch hole selfie camera we still haven’t had confirmation on the sensor that’s going to be used for the selfie camera but many are speculating that it will be the 10 megapixel sensor.

that we’re used to seeing when it comes to the rear we’ve got a quad camera set up on the standard note 20 it’s a 12 megapixel main a 64 megapixel telephoto a 12 megapixel ultra wide and a 3d timer flight depth sensor powering the phone is going to be the new snapdragon 865 plus in north america and a couple of other regions globally however it will of course be the exynos there’s many claims suggesting that it could be the exynos 992 which is a five nanometer chipset but personally i just don’t think this is correct samsung are most likely going to be saving the 992 for the s21 and give us the 990 or at least an overclocked.

version in the note 20. being the smaller version it’s expected to come with 8 gigs of ram and 256 gig storage which is the same as its predecessor and this seems plenty for such a powerful device it’s going to be powered by a 4 300 milliamp hour battery with 25 watt fast charge support but there’s unfortunately gonna be no three and a half mil headphone jack it’s gonna have bluetooth five wi-fi six and come with android 10 in the form of one ui 2.5 and it will of course be 5g compatible the galaxy note 20 is going to be ip68 water resistant it will of course come with the s pen and when it comes to pricing although nothing’s been confirmed.

we’re expecting a launch price of around 999 next up we’ve got the samsung galaxy note 20 ultra the note 20 ultra is of course the largest model of the two coming with a 6.9 inch oled display at a resolution of 3096 by 1444 this gives us 497 pixels per inch and it is of course a 120 hertz display the galaxy note 20 ultra is going to be a full screen display with an in-display fingerprint scanner and a punch hole selfie camera the display.

is of course going to be protected by gorilla glass 6 while we haven’t had it confirmed we’re hoping that the note 20 ultra is going to allow users to run 120 hertz at the full quad hd plus resolution when it comes to the rear of the galaxy note 20 ultra we again have the rectangular camera housing and a quad camera setup the main camera is a 108 megapixel wide angle with an aperture of f 1.8 it’s got phase detect auto focus laser auto focus and optical image stabilization we get a 13 megapixel telephoto lens with an aperture of f 3.4 this has phase detect auto focus optical image stabilization and it’s a periscope lens capable of five times optical zoom.

we get a 12 megapixel ultra wide with an aperture of f 2.2 and again this has phase detect autofocus and finally we get the additional laser focus sensor the camera setup is very similar to the s20 ultra but given the focusing issues that that had they’ve replaced the timer flight sensor with the laser focus they’ve also got rid of the 100 times space zoom as it was a bit of a gimmick and not much use to consumers and they’ve now put a 50 times cap in place the note 20 ultra will of course be powered by the snapdragon 865 plus in the snapdragon regions.

and the exynos 990 or the 992 globally it’s going to come with 12 gigs of ram and a choice of 256 or 512 internal storage it’s going to be powered by a larger battery while the capacity hasn’t been confirmed it’s expected to be between 4500 and 5000 milliamp hours again we’ve got no three and a half mil headphone jack but it will have bluetooth 5 wi-fi 6 5g connectivity and be ip68 water resistant it’s going to come with the s pen and a new pointer feature and while earlier leaks suggest that it would be called the.

galaxy note 20 plus we now know from certification that it’s the note 20 ultra so no pricing leaks have come forward yet but many leakers have suggested it’s going to be their most expensive yet it’s expected to be more than the s20 ultra so a launch price of at least one thousand four hundred and fifty dollars could be on the cards both note 20s are going to be launching alongside other phones at the online only unpacked event on the 5th of august for those wanting to tune in it’s going to be broadcast on

as well as samsung’s youtube channel and this is going to be at 10 a.m eastern time which means 3 p.m if you’re in the uk like me of course as more information comes to light i’ll be sharing it with you guys straight away but as always i’d like to know your thoughts in the comments who out there is waiting for the galaxy note 20 and which version do you want the most but thanks for watching the video if you liked it smash the thumbs up if you didn’t hit the thumbs down twice and i’ll see you guys in the next one yo.
